Swedish lessons online or in Stockholm
You may already live in Sweden, be planning a move, or simply want to use more Swedish in everyday life and at work. You may understand more than you speak – but when conversations speed up, it is easy to switch back to English.
Our private lessons help you move from understanding Swedish to actually using it. You can study online wherever you live or meet us in person in Stockholm. Lessons are tailored to your level, goals and the situations where you actually need Swedish.
Learn Swedish online or in Stockholm
One of our students recently described the joy of suddenly understanding what people around her were saying – on the metro, in the supermarket, or over coffee with colleagues. That is the kind of confidence we work towards if you live in Sweden.
And if you are still abroad – perhaps preparing to move, working with Swedish clients or colleagues, or simply wanting to learn Swedish – we build the same confidence online. You can take private Swedish lessons in Stockholm or study Swedish online wherever you are. You set the pace.
What we work on
Lessons are adapted to your level and goals. In practice, we usually work with a combination of:
Everyday Swedish and conversation – using Swedish in shops, healthcare, public services and other situations where you want to avoid switching back to English.
Swedish at work – expressing opinions, asking follow-up questions, taking part in meetings and feeling more confident in conversations with colleagues.
Pronunciation, intonation and fluency – becoming easier to understand and feeling more comfortable when speaking.
Grammar and vocabulary – the language you need to express yourself more clearly, integrated into real conversations rather than taught as isolated exercises.
Swedish communication and culture – how Swedes make small talk, give feedback, communicate indirectly and interact in everyday life and at work.
Lessons built around your goals
Your lessons are built around where you are now and what you want to be able to do in Swedish.
You can study online from anywhere in the world or meet us in person in Stockholm. Lessons can be scheduled regularly over a longer period or more intensively if you are preparing for a move, a new role or a specific situation where you need Swedish.
All levels are welcome, from complete beginners to advanced learners. The pace, number of lessons and focus are adapted to your goals, your schedule and the situations where you actually want to use the language.
For life in Sweden – or before you arrive
Speaking Swedish changes more than the practical side of everyday life. It makes it easier to follow conversations around you, take part in fika, understand the tone of workplace discussions and feel more at home in Swedish-speaking situations.
That matters whether you already live in Sweden or are preparing to move here. For many students, the biggest shift is not simply understanding more Swedish, but feeling comfortable enough to actually use it when the opportunity comes.
